Knitting Kit – Life’s a Beach Bag

The latest in our Big Cotton Summer designs comes this spacious beach bag. Just right for heading for a day out and big enough for all your beachy needs.

Suitable for intermediate knitters, this beach bag is knit in the round using Bamboo Stitch. This consists on knit stitch and yarn over to create a really lovely textured finish. It is a great repetitive pattern and has such an effective look.

The bag kit gives you the option of knitting it all in one colour or with a colour block bottom (if you’d like it all in one colour, please just select the same main & accent colours.) It has a bottom gusset which creates shape and space, and it hangs really nicely on the shoulder or across the body.

You can make the handle as long or as short as you like, depending on how you’d like to wear it. Knit up in a matter of hours, you can throw in your towel and suncream and hit the beach in no time!
